| A friend of mine posted this on her weblog. It's me at the end of the gauntlet. Actually I fell asleep before my english class so I ended a little prematurely, but I got my paper in so its allright.

| Thanks for all of your love and support throughout all of this. Allthough my music history assignment was not completed intime (earning another 10 percent reduction) I have successfully completed my goals, and even managed to get a couple hours of sleep this afternoon. If you'll excuse me now, I have some columbo to watch. |

| - So instead of whining over how much work I have to do this week, I've decided to take a different viewpoint. I'm looking at the next few days as a type of physical challenge - something like The Eliminator. So here's the game plan, if I'm man enough. . .
Gauntlet 2005: 8:15 p.m. finish writing on xanga go over the music building 8:20 - 1:00 am Work on my Jazz composition due tommorrow and practice the guitar (I have my music major qualifying exam in a week and a half). 1:00 am (conservatory closes) go home 1:00 - 7:00 Work on my 10-page term paper for my english class 7:00 - 9:00 practice guitar some more 9:00 - 10:00 Guitar Lesson (hopefully don't disapoint my teacher) 10:00 am - 1:00 pm sleep 1:00 - 1:30 Rehearsal for my lame classical guitar duet (I get a grade for it) 1:30 - 2:30 Jazz Composition class - turn in rough sketch of composition 2:30 - 3:30 eat something 3:30 - 6:30 work on Music History Journal (4 page writing/listening assignment that was due this morning) 6:30 dinner 7:30 - 9:00 finish Music History Journal 9:00 - 10:30 RLA staff meeting 10:30 pm - 8:00 am Work on Composition for my Classical composition class, also finish 10 page paper if its not yet done 8:00 - eat something 8:30 - 9:50 music history class (turn in Journal for %10 reduction) 9:50 - 11:10 copy what I have done for my composition class so that it's legible 11:10 - 12:20 Composition class 12:20 - 2:50 Read over my term paper for english (I haven't gotten a grade at all this term in the class, this paper is %50 percent) 2:50 - 4:00 Major American Writers - turn in paper. 4:00 pm Collapse, hopefully basking in the glory and satisfaction of successfully completing the Gauntlet.
Well that's the plan, Lets see if I can do it. I'm also taking sponsors, (i.e. big signs that say "You can do it Paul!" or a note of encouragement or money) Oh shoot I allready last three minutes. Later.

| - Well I don't have much exciting news to say except this. I had a girlfriend for a week and a half, and then she dumped me. I wish you guys could have met her before she dumped me, but no luck with that. Pat got dumped by UIC and I got dumped by a girl named J. Maybe we need to send out some pamphlets, communist manefesto style, informing everyone of what their missing, because obviously people aren't getting the point. Anyway, since I built up so much excitement I figured it was my duty to put it to rest as well. Let's toast to new possibilities and hawk a loogie at ex-boyfriends. Those dirty rats. |

| - I'm real busy, but I want to give the warning that a week from saturday I'm comin' home. make way, and bake me a cake, because we're having a party. |
